PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Summary of Position:

This position supports the production manager, recording completed production data, helping to manage tag and label inventory, staging materials for production lines, and printing tracking labels for production items.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the functions of the production manager
• Record daily planting data using our custom software
• Help maintain accurate counts of tag and label inventories
• Help stage the materials required for each production line to maintain a smooth flow of production

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or higher
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel & Outlook
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
• Good attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Bilingual in English & Spanish
• Peak season (spring) may include weekend hours. 

Salary & Compensation:

• Pay: $15-17 per hour

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Summary of Position:

Process orders, answer calls, and handle customer service issues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a designated geographical area of customers and for meeting or exceeding the sales goals for that area
• You will be coordinating with an outside sales rep in specific territories.
• Works collectively with other sales reps and territories.
• Learn the product line to assist the customer with product questions.
• Master our custom software to manipulate product inventory and orders, best meet customers' needs, and efficiently flow products off the farm.
• Cheerfully answer calls and help the customer navigate through our product availability.
• Redirect customers to other products when there is no availability of what plant they are requesting. 
• Follow up on orders and allocations to ensure the efficient flow of products and that customers receive all of the products they are expecting.
• Monitor shipments and communicate order changes or shipping delays to customers and other sales reps.
• Frequent field checks are required to view the available product and future product availability to better assist customers with their orders.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or higher

ASSISTANT HEAD GROWER

Summary of Position:

Once training has been completed, the candidate will be capable of operating and understanding all aspects of our operation, from propagation to finish crops.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learn technical specifications for each crop.
• Maintain records of crop activities and observations.
• Follow growing schedules determined by the Production Department.
• Monitor propagation ranges for issues that may arise.
• Assess the quality of all unrooted cuttings and plugs received from all suppliers that will later be transferred to the planting lines.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture.
• Strong Computer Skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Spanish.
• Self-motivated.
• Positive work ethic.
